## Major Overhaul at King Khalid International Airport

King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh has embarked on its most significant operational transformation since its inception over four decades ago. This comprehensive overhaul aims to optimize airline operations across its terminals.

## Terminal Transition Project

The "Terminal Transition" project, spearheaded by Riyadh Airports Company, involves a strategic reallocation of terminal assignments to boost efficiency and improve passenger movement. As of today, Terminals 1 and 2 are dedicated to international flights operated by Saudi national carriers.

## Upcoming Changes

Starting February 24, Terminal 4 will cater to domestic flights for national airlines. The following day, Terminal 5 will begin handling international flights for foreign carriers. Additionally, operations at Terminal 3 will merge with Terminal 4 to support domestic services of national carriers.

## Strategic Goals

This initiative is part of broader efforts to streamline airport operations and accommodate increasing passenger numbers, aligning with Saudi Arabia's aviation growth strategy.
