## Record Attendance at DWTC

In 2025, the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) experienced a significant surge in visitor numbers, hosting nearly 3 million attendees. This marked a 12% increase from the previous year, with a total of 401 events held, reflecting a 6% rise in event numbers.

## International Participation

International visitors accounted for 43% of the total attendance, highlighting the global appeal of DWTC's events. The centre hosted 134 major meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE), attracting 2.19 million participants, including 951,000 from overseas.

## Sector Highlights

Healthcare and medical events were the most popular, drawing 436,000 attendees across 23 events. Technology events followed closely with 341,000 participants, while food and beverage events attracted 280,000 visitors.

## Venue Expansion

The Dubai Exhibition Centre expanded its capacity by adding 140,000 square metres of event space, hosting 36 events with 319,000 participants. Additionally, DWTC introduced seven new exhibitions, contributing 30,000 attendees and 750 exhibiting companies.

## Economic Impact

Beyond events, DWTC's free zone licensed 850 new companies in 2025, and its commercial and residential properties maintained occupancy levels above 95%.
