Saudi Arabia opens bids for naming rights of five metro stations in push to boost private investment

## Bidding for Metro Station Names

Saudi Arabia is inviting bids for the naming rights of five metro stations in Riyadh. This initiative aims to attract private investment and enhance revenue through long-term branding opportunities.

## Strategic Locations

The stations included in this phase are Al Murooj, Al Nuzha, Al Rabee, Jarir District, and King Fahd District 1. These locations were selected due to their strategic importance, high population density, and significant passenger traffic.

## Contract Details

Contracts for the naming rights can last up to 10 years, providing extensive brand visibility across various station facilities. This includes signage, ticket gates, and key transit areas.

## Invitation to Investors

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City is encouraging both local and international investors to participate through the "Furas" platform. This follows a previous phase where naming rights for seven stations were awarded to major companies.

## Goals of the Initiative

The program aims to generate sustainable financial returns, support metro operations, reduce costs, and improve services by fostering collaboration with the private sector. Bids are open from April 8 to May 10.
