Salik unveils Ramadan toll discounts to ease Dubai traffic

## New Toll Pricing for Ramadan

Dubai's toll operator, Salik, has announced a revised toll pricing structure for Ramadan 2026. The aim is to ease traffic congestion and accommodate the altered travel patterns during the holy month.

## Peak and Off-Peak Rates

From Monday to Saturday, the toll fee will be Dh6 during peak hours, which are set from 9am to 5pm. Outside these hours, from 7am to 9am and 5pm to 2am, the fee will be reduced to Dh4. There will be no charges between 2am and 7am.

## Sunday Rates

On Sundays, excluding public holidays and major events, the toll will consistently be Dh4 throughout both peak and off-peak times, with the same free period from 2am to 7am.

## Purpose of the Changes

These adjustments are intended to provide more flexibility for drivers during Ramadan, reflecting changes in commuting patterns due to fasting, evening gatherings, and altered work hours. The new pricing is also expected to help manage traffic more effectively and reduce congestion during critical periods.
