## New Aircraft and Enhanced Services
Etihad Airways is set to enhance its Abu Dhabi to India routes by introducing the Airbus A321LR, starting May 1. This aircraft will operate twice daily to Mumbai and New Delhi, alongside existing wide-body services, resulting in four daily flights to each city.
## Upgraded Cabin Experience
Passengers on these routes will now enjoy lie-flat Business Class seats on all flights. Additionally, select aircraft will offer First-Class suites, providing a more luxurious travel experience. This move underscores Etihad's commitment to the Indian market, which is strategically important for the airline.
## Additional Benefits for Premium Travelers
Beyond the aircraft upgrades, First and Business Class passengers will benefit from enhanced services. These include chauffeur services for certain fare categories, personalized concierge support for First Class, and meet-and-assist services at the airport.
## Context of the Upgrades
These enhancements come amid a challenging period for the aviation industry, with global jet fuel shortages and high airfares. Despite these challenges, demand for travel remains strong, particularly on routes between the UAE and India, which are vital for expatriates and business travelers.
