## Tragic Incident at Flamingo Beach
A 13-year-old boy tragically lost his life while saving his younger sister from drowning at Flamingo Beach in Ras Al Khaimah. The incident occurred on a Tuesday afternoon, leaving the local community in deep mourning.
## Heroic Act
The young boy managed to rescue his 7-year-old sister from the sea. Along with her, two cousins, aged 8 and 9, were also involved in the incident but survived. They were quickly taken to Saqr Government Hospital for treatment and were discharged the next day in stable condition.
## Community Mourning
The boy's father shared that his son was a beloved member of the community and had recently excelled academically. He had proudly brought home his report card and requested an iPhone 17 as a reward for his achievements.
## Final Farewell
Funeral prayers were held at Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Mosque, followed by a burial at Al Salhiya cemetery. Many attended to offer their condolences and support to the grieving family.
