## Expansion of Religious Infrastructure

Dubai has inaugurated 13 new mosques as part of a significant expansion effort by the Dubai Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department. This initiative, costing Dh162 million, aims to accommodate the city's growing population and enhance access to religious facilities.

## Capacity and Future Plans

The newly opened mosques can collectively host over 10,400 worshippers. This development is aligned with Dubai's urban growth strategies, ensuring that community services are well-distributed. Additionally, 10 land plots have been designated for future mosque projects in various areas, including Al Awir 1, Hind City 3, and Al Khawaneej 2.

## Strategic Goals

Mohammed Jassim Al Mansouri, Director of Customer Service, emphasized that these projects support the Dubai Social Agenda 33 and the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan. The expansion addresses the increasing demand in new districts, focusing on efficient service delivery and sustainability.
