## Return to In-Person Learning

After weeks of remote education, students across the UAE returned to classrooms on Monday. Emirates Transport has deployed over 10,200 school buses to facilitate the transportation of 285,000 pupils attending 630 schools nationwide. This move follows a decision by the Ministry of Education, coordinated with relevant authorities.

## Extensive Preparations

The resumption of bus services involved comprehensive preparations to ensure safety and efficiency. Sulaiman Jassim Al Hammadi, head of school transport operations at Emirates Transport, emphasized the immediate activation of administrative and field teams to ensure a seamless transition back to in-person learning. The company focused on detailed contingency planning, aligning routes and schedules with updated safety requirements.

## Operational Readiness

More than 10,000 drivers and an equal number of trained transport supervisors have been deployed to manage operations across the country. The fleet remained in a state of readiness during the remote learning period, with preventive maintenance and technical checks conducted at over 23 service centers. Continuous training ensured that field teams were prepared to resume operations promptly.

## Coordination and Monitoring

Coordination with the Ministry of Education and school administrations was crucial for maintaining stability during the reopening phase. Emirates Transport has committed to closely monitoring services and responding to feedback from parents and schools regarding routes and timings. A dedicated call center is available to address any inquiries and ensure quick resolutions to issues.
