## Project Overview

The Hafeet Rail project, a collaboration between Etihad Rail, Oman Rail, and Mubadala Investment Company, has reached 40% completion. This significant infrastructure initiative aims to connect the UAE and Oman with a 238-kilometer railway network.

## Progress and Achievements

To date, the project has completed over 27 million cubic meters of earthworks and achieved 10 million safe man-hours without major injuries. Construction is actively underway in key areas including Al Ain, Al Buraimi, Sohar, and Wadi Al Jizzi.

## Economic Impact

Once finished, the railway is expected to enhance trade and logistics between the two countries, strengthening economic ties and improving supply chain resilience. The project is named after Jebel Hafeet, reflecting its importance in regional connectivity.
