## Turkish Grand Prix Returns

Formula One will see the return of the Turkish Grand Prix in 2027 after a six-year break. The race will be held at the Istanbul Park circuit, which previously hosted events from 2005 to 2011 and again in 2020 and 2021.

## Five-Year Agreement

The new agreement ensures that the Turkish Grand Prix will be part of the Formula One calendar for at least five years. This announcement was celebrated with a special event in Istanbul, where a Formula One car was driven through the city, starting at Galataport and concluding at the Presidential Office in Dolmabahce.

## Official Launch

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan officially launched the event, highlighting the significance of the race for Turkey's sporting reputation. Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali and FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem were also present at the launch.

Erdogan expressed that the return of the Grand Prix is a testament to Turkey's enthusiasm for sports and will reinforce Istanbul's status as a global city. He also emphasized that the event will showcase Turkey as a safe and welcoming destination.
