UAE ranks among highest globally in healthcare trust

## UAE's Healthcare Trust Ranking

The UAE has been recognized as one of the top countries globally for public trust in its healthcare system, according to the Edelman Trust in Healthcare Report 2026. This report surveyed over 16,000 individuals across 16 countries, including approximately 1,000 respondents from the UAE.

## High Confidence Levels

The findings reveal that about 90% of UAE respondents trust local and national health authorities, placing the country among the global leaders in healthcare trust. Trust in healthcare companies is also strong, with 85% expressing confidence in healthcare providers and government regulators.

## Sector-Specific Trust

Confidence in hospitals is particularly high at 90%, while local pharmacies and health technology companies enjoy trust levels of 85% and 86%, respectively. Pharmaceutical companies and consumer health services are trusted by 84% and 85% of respondents, respectively. Private health insurance providers have a trust level of 82%, and the nutrition sector stands at 77%.

## Stable Healthcare Environment

The report underscores the UAE's stable and trusted healthcare environment, especially as global confidence in health systems faces challenges due to debates over public health policies and emerging technologies.
