Dubai Courts speeds inheritance cases, distributes Dh3.5b faster

## Enhanced Efficiency in Inheritance Cases

Dubai Courts has significantly improved the speed of inheritance case resolutions, distributing Dh3.5 billion more efficiently. This achievement is attributed to the Inheritance and Minors’ Funds Department's efforts, which have led to faster case settlements and increased customer satisfaction.

## Digital Innovations

The department has embraced digital platforms to streamline processes, reducing the average time for amicable settlements to 13.8 working days, well below the previous 24-day average. The introduction of the "Jabr Platform" in October 2025 has been pivotal, cutting processing times from 96 days to just three days.

## Impressive Operational Performance

In 2025, customer satisfaction reached 98%, surpassing the overall Dubai Courts average. The department processed 45,001 smart requests, with most decisions made within a single working day, minimizing the need for in-person visits.

## Future Plans

Looking ahead, Dubai Courts plans to implement a new "Inventory and Distribution of Inheritance" project by October 2026. This initiative will involve collaboration with key entities such as the Central Bank and Dubai Land Department, aiming to further enhance the efficiency of inheritance processes.
