## Major Waterfront Development in Dubai

Nakheel has announced contracts worth over Dh3.5 billion for the construction of 544 villas on Palm Jebel Ali, marking a significant step in one of Dubai's largest waterfront residential projects. The construction is set to begin this quarter and aims for completion by the end of 2028.

## Contractors and Project Details

The project is divided between two UAE-based contractors. Ginco General Contracting L.L.C will handle 354 villas on Fronds A to D, while United Engineering Construction (UNEC) will construct 190 villas on Fronds E and F. The villas will feature ten different architectural styles, emphasizing waterfront views and incorporating smart-home and sustainable design elements.

## Strategic Urban Expansion

Palm Jebel Ali is part of Dubai's broader urban expansion along its southern coastline, aligning with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. These initiatives aim to enhance the city's residential, investment, and lifestyle offerings.
