In 2025, EDGE generated AED 596 million in local added value and secured new orders worth $7.96 billion, increasing its total backlog to $20.4 billion. Over 80% of its systems are now produced locally, underscoring its commitment to building a robust national defence industry.

## Focus on Technology and Innovation

EDGE is investing in advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, to enhance production. In 2025, it completed over 68 technology projects, boosting production capacity. Its innovation center, BRIDGE, has trained more than 5,000 specialists and launched numerous programs in modern manufacturing.

## Supporting National Talent

EDGE is launching a new engineering talent platform for UAE professionals, offering project-based opportunities in advanced technology and defence. This initiative aims to develop national talent and strengthen the local workforce.

## Industry Discussions and Initiatives

During the event, EDGE will participate in discussions on supply chains and national security. It will also launch the "Innovate to Defend" challenge, inviting ideas for national security solutions, with selected proposals potentially developed further.
