Tamil Nadu election: Vijay’s TVK emerges strong as trends shift

## TVK's Strong Performance

In the ongoing Tamil Nadu assembly elections, the Tamila Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) party, led by Vijay, is making significant strides. As of the latest updates, TVK is leading in 107 seats across the state. Vijay himself is ahead in the Tiruchirappalli East constituency by over 3,000 votes.

## Key Contests

In Kolathur, TVK's V S Babu is leading against the current Chief Minister MK Stalin by more than 2,500 votes. Meanwhile, KA Sengottaiyan, another prominent TVK leader, is ahead in Gobichettipalayam with a margin exceeding 3,000 votes.

## Other Parties' Performance

The Secular Progressive Alliance, led by the DMK, is trailing with leads in only 46 seats. The AIADMK-led NDA alliance is currently in second place, leading in 80 seats.
