## Expansion of Parking Spaces

Dubai has significantly increased its paid parking facilities, adding 49,000 new spaces in the first quarter of 2026. This expansion brings Parkin's total parking capacity to 258,000 spaces, marking a 23% growth from the previous year. The most substantial increase was seen in developer parking, which rose from 18,700 spaces to 59,100.

## Revenue and Profit Growth

Parkin reported a 41% rise in total revenue, reaching Dh384 million, and a 36% increase in net profit, totaling Dh185 million for the first quarter. The company attributes this growth to the expansion of its parking network and a surge in seasonal card sales, which more than doubled from the previous year.

## Seasonal Card Sales Surge

Sales of seasonal parking cards hit a record 100,600, up 129% from the same period last year. This increase is largely due to the introduction of variable parking tariffs, encouraging more drivers to opt for seasonal cards.

## Parking Enforcement and Technology

The first quarter also saw a rise in parking enforcement, with 754,000 notices issued, a 33% increase from the previous year. Parkin has enhanced its enforcement capabilities by using smart inspection cars and testing new camera systems to improve efficiency in congested areas.

## Financial Performance

Parkin's revenue from various segments, including public and developer parking, seasonal cards, and enforcement, showed significant growth. Developer parking revenue increased by 66%, while enforcement revenue rose by 46%. The company is reviewing its revenue guidance for 2026, with updates expected in the second quarter results.
