## Record Financial Performance
Emirates Group has reported unprecedented financial results for the fiscal year 2025-26, despite facing significant disruptions in the Gulf region towards the end of the period. The group, which includes Emirates airline and dnata, recorded a profit before tax of Dh24.4 billion, marking a 7% increase from the previous year. Revenue reached Dh150.5 billion, a 3% rise, while cash assets grew by 12% to Dh59.6 billion.
## Operational Challenges and Recovery
The last month of the financial year was particularly challenging due to military activities in the Gulf, which disrupted air traffic. However, Emirates quickly restored operations, thanks to Dubai's robust aviation infrastructure. Although passenger capacity is still below pre-disruption levels, cargo operations have increased to support essential goods movement.
## Emirates Airline Performance
Emirates airline maintained its status as the world's most profitable airline, with a profit before tax of Dh22.8 billion and revenues of Dh130.9 billion. The airline carried 53.2 million passengers and achieved a passenger seat factor of 78.4%. Despite increased operating costs, lower fuel prices helped mitigate expenses.
## Fleet Expansion and Future Plans
The airline expanded its fleet by acquiring 15 Airbus A350 aircraft, bringing the total to 277. Emirates also announced additional aircraft orders worth $41.4 billion, extending deliveries into 2038. The group plans to continue investing in aircraft, infrastructure, and technology to maintain its competitive edge.
## Workforce and Brand Strength
Emirates Group's workforce grew by 8% to 130,919 employees, reflecting ongoing recruitment efforts. The airline's brand value increased by 27% to $10.6 billion, making it the UAE's third strongest brand. This growth is supported by global visibility and extensive sports sponsorships.
