## Record Profits Lead to Employee Bonuses
The Emirates Group has announced a significant 20-week salary bonus for its employees following a record-breaking fiscal year 2025-2026. The group, which includes Emirates airline and dnata, achieved unprecedented profits and revenues despite challenging circumstances.
## Financial Highlights
The group reported a profit before tax of Dh 24.4 billion, marking a 7% increase from the previous year. Revenues reached Dh150.5 billion, a 3% rise, while cash assets grew by 12% to Dh59.6 billion.
## Challenges Overcome
Despite the ongoing US-Israel-Iran conflict impacting Middle East aviation, Emirates managed to maintain operations and even expand its workforce by 8% to 130,919 employees. The airline resumed flights to 137 destinations across 72 countries.
## Leadership's Acknowledgment
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates, expressed gratitude to employees for their dedication during these challenging times. He highlighted the importance of Dubai’s infrastructure and aviation ecosystem in supporting the airline's resilience.
## Economic Impact
A report by Oxford Economics emphasized the significant role of the aviation sector, led by Emirates, in Dubai's economy. The sector supports over 630,000 jobs, with projections to add 185,000 more by 2030.
