## Investment in Al Ain
Sanad, a subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company, is set to invest Dh480 million in a new aircraft engine repair facility in Al Ain. This initiative aims to enhance the company's maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities globally.
## Facility Details
The upcoming facility will cover approximately 17,600 square meters and is designed to manage up to 65,000 engine components annually. It will integrate various repair capabilities into a single platform, supporting a range of engine types.
## Economic Impact
The project is expected to create over 350 jobs in Al Ain, with a focus on developing local Emirati talent. This aligns with Abu Dhabi's broader strategy to strengthen its aviation ecosystem and industrial base.
## Strategic Goals
Sanad's investment is part of its long-term growth strategy in the aviation services sector, aiming to solidify its position as a key provider of engine MRO services in the Middle East and beyond.
