Sharjah Police secure top honours at Minister of Interior excellence awards

## Prestigious Recognition for Sharjah Police

The Sharjah Police General Headquarters has been recognized for its outstanding achievements at the seventh Minister of Interior Excellence Awards 2026. The ceremony took place at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, attended by Lt. Gen. Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

## Awards in Multiple Categories

Sharjah Police received accolades in two institutional categories and one individual category. They were awarded first place for leadership in the best government communication entity category, highlighting their advanced communication and media systems. Additionally, Khorfakkan Comprehensive Police Station earned the silver award for best comprehensive police station, showcasing its high-quality security and traffic services.

## Individual Achievement

On an individual level, Darrar Abbas Al Hosani, a civilian employee, was honored with the people of determination award for his professional excellence and significant contributions to the workplace.
