Qatar Airways to launch direct flights to Venezuela and Colombia

## New Routes to Caracas and Bogota

Qatar Airways is set to expand its presence in the Americas by introducing direct flights to Caracas, Venezuela, and Bogota, Colombia, starting July 22. This strategic move will make Qatar Airways the first Gulf airline to operate flights to Venezuela and the first to offer direct connections from the Middle East to these South American capitals.

## Enhancing Global Connectivity

The new routes are part of Qatar Airways' ongoing efforts to enhance global air connectivity. The flights will provide seamless connections through Hamad International Airport to various destinations, including Australia, China, Japan, Lebanon, South Korea, and the UAE.

## Expanding Network

With the addition of Caracas and Bogota, Qatar Airways will have 16 destinations in the Americas. The airline first entered the South American market in 2010 with flights to Sao Paulo, Brazil. Currently, Qatar Airways operates over 160 destinations worldwide during the summer season, continuing to rebuild and expand its network.
