## Population and Economic Growth

Fujairah's population reached 328,495 by mid-2025, marking an increase from 314,829 the previous year. The emirate's GDP also saw a rise, reaching Dh32.6 billion, driven by growth in sectors such as industry, tourism, and construction.

## Key Population Centers

Fujairah City remains the largest population center with 121,538 residents. The countryside follows with 113,920 people, while Dibba Fujairah and its countryside have populations of 52,413 and 40,606, respectively.

## Demographic and Social Statistics

The male population stands at 214,313, compared to 114,182 females. The emirate recorded 1,490 births and 155 deaths in the first half of the year. Marriage registrations totaled 833, with 116 divorces.

## Employment and Construction

Employment in government sectors includes 16,507 workers, with 6,882 Emiratis and 9,625 expatriates. The construction sector remains active, with 2,806 building permits issued.

## Education and Industry

Fujairah hosts 59 schools serving 46,418 students and five higher education institutions with 4,804 students. The number of factories increased to 277, employing over 21,700 workers, supported by Dh13.61 billion in capital investment.

## Trade and Healthcare

The emirate issued 14,135 trade licenses, with direct foreign trade valued at Dh3.2 billion. Healthcare facilities include eight hospitals and 93 medical centers, employing 971 doctors and 1,752 nursing staff.

## Tourism and Transportation

Fujairah's hospitality sector welcomed nearly 802,000 guests in 2025, with 34 hotels offering over 5,000 rooms. The international airport handled 54,247 flights, with over 84,000 arriving and 73,000 departing passengers.

## Environmental and Safety Measures

Authorities managed over 812,000 tonnes of waste and treated 10.9 million cubic meters of waste materials. Traffic incidents totaled 12,894, resulting in 235 injuries and nine fatalities. Civil Defence responded to 145 fire incidents, mostly residential.
