## Incident Overview
In Ningbo, Zhejiang province, a 12-year-old boy inadvertently caused a fire that destroyed an office. The incident occurred on April 30 when the boy, accompanying a parent to work during a school holiday, was left unsupervised.
## How the Fire Started
Bored and with little to occupy his time, the boy began playing with a lighter and tissues. This led to a fire that quickly spread, igniting nearby clutter and engulfing the office in flames.
## Response and Impact
Firefighters were called to the scene and managed to control the blaze, but not before significant damage was done. The office was left in ruins, with financial losses estimated in the tens of thousands of yuan. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
## Aftermath
The parent and colleagues initially attempted to put out the fire themselves before seeking help from firefighters. It remains unclear if any legal actions or compensation claims will be pursued following the incident.
