## Holiday Announcement
The Ajman Government Human Resources Department has declared the official holiday period for Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha for government employees. The break will commence on Monday, May 25, and extend through Friday, May 29, 2026.

Government offices will reopen on Monday, June 1, 2026, following the holiday period. This announcement was shared through the department's social media platforms.
## Moon Sighting Event
In Dubai, a public event for the sighting of the Dhu Al Hijjah crescent moon is scheduled for May 17, 2026. Organized by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, the event will take place at Jebel Nazwa Trail, starting at 5pm and continuing until after sunset.
