While 73% of UAE CEOs trust their company's AI governance systems, there is a notable lack of confidence in explaining AI-driven decisions to regulators. Additionally, 44% of CEOs have delayed or canceled AI projects due to potential risks.

The study also notes a rise in CEO involvement in AI-related decisions, with 75% of UAE CEOs reporting increased engagement over the past year. However, many remain cautious, as 75% believe failed AI strategies could lead to job loss by 2026.
