## Incident Overview
In a tragic incident in Al Musannah, Oman, four expatriates lost their lives due to carbon monoxide poisoning. The victims, all of Asian origin, were found inside a parked vehicle with the engine running.
## Police Response and Warning
The Royal Oman Police responded to the scene and confirmed the deaths were caused by inhaling toxic exhaust fumes. Following this, they issued a public safety warning advising against sleeping in vehicles with running engines or leaving them on in enclosed spaces.
## Safety Precautions
Authorities emphasized the dangers of carbon monoxide, a colorless and odorless gas that can quickly become fatal in poorly ventilated areas. They urged the public to ensure proper ventilation when using vehicles to prevent similar tragedies.
