## UAE Students Achieve High CBSE Scores
Despite the cancellation of many exams due to regional tensions, UAE students excelled in the CBSE Class 12 results. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) adapted by using internal assessments, project work, and practical exams to determine final grades.
## Consistency in Internal Assessments
Students like Veeva Nilesh Thanki from Credence High School, who scored 97.20% in the science stream, attributed their success to consistent preparation throughout the year. Thanki focused on NCERT books and internal assessments, which she believed were tougher than the final exams.
Liz Ajith, also from Credence High School, achieved the same score by maintaining consistent grades across all assessments. She received conditional offers from universities in the US, Singapore, and Australia.
## Outstanding Performances
Adithi Pramod from GEMS Our Own Indian School scored 99.6% despite sitting only one exam. Her consistent performance in pre-boards and internal assessments played a crucial role. Apurva Ranjith, her schoolmate, achieved 99.8% and highlighted the importance of consistent preparation since 11th grade.
Deron Lawrance from Bright Riders School topped his school with 99.4% in the science stream. He praised the new computer-based grading system for reducing errors and emphasized the importance of balancing academics with other activities.
## Reflections on the New Grading System
Students from Indian High School expressed relief that their hard work was accurately reflected in their results. Joshua Sunny Stanley, the commerce topper with 99.8%, emphasized that success doesn't require sacrificing enjoyment of life.
## School Leaders' Perspectives
Punit MK Vasu, CEO of the Indian High Group of Schools, commended CBSE's fair and transparent assessment framework. Lalitha Suresh, Principal of GEMS Our Own Indian School, praised the resilience of students, teachers, and families during this challenging period.
