## On-Screen Marking System

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has implemented a digital evaluation system known as On-Screen Marking (OSM) for Class 12 exams. This system aims to enhance accuracy and transparency by reducing manual errors and ensuring a complete assessment of answer scripts. It also promotes a paperless workflow, improving efficiency and maintaining the confidentiality of answer sheets.

## Post-Result Review Process

CBSE has outlined a two-stage review process for students dissatisfied with their results. In the first stage, students can request scanned copies of their evaluated answer books online. The second stage allows students to apply for verification of discrepancies or re-evaluation of specific answers. Applications must be submitted online within the specified timeline, and only one application per stage is permitted.

## Application Guidelines

The Board has set strict guidelines for the application process. All requests must be submitted digitally, with no offline applications accepted. Fees are to be paid online, and students are required to return original mark sheets if their scores are revised. The decision after re-evaluation is final, with no further appeals allowed.
