## On-Screen Marking System

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has implemented an On-Screen Marking (OSM) system for Class 12 exams. This digital evaluation method aims to enhance accuracy and transparency by reducing manual errors, ensuring complete assessment of answer scripts, and speeding up the evaluation process. The system also supports a paperless workflow, promoting eco-friendly practices.

## Post-Result Review Options

CBSE has outlined a two-stage review process for students dissatisfied with their results. In the first stage, students can request scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets. These copies will be accessible online for review. In the second stage, students may apply for verification of discrepancies or request re-evaluation of specific answers.

## Application Guidelines

Applications for review must be submitted online within a specified timeline, and only one application per stage is allowed. Fees are to be paid digitally, and any changes in marks after review will require students to return their original mark sheets for updated ones. The board's decision post-re-evaluation is final and binding.
