## On-Screen Marking System

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has implemented an On-Screen Marking (OSM) system for Class 12 exams. This digital evaluation method aims to enhance accuracy and transparency by reducing manual errors and ensuring complete assessment of answer scripts. The system also speeds up processing and maintains confidentiality, contributing to a more efficient and eco-friendly examination process.

## Post-Result Review Process

CBSE has outlined a two-stage review process for students dissatisfied with their results. In the first stage, students can request scanned copies of their evaluated answer sheets online. This allows them to review their performance in selected subjects.

In the second stage, students may apply for verification of any discrepancies or request a re-evaluation of specific answers. Applications must be submitted online within a specified timeframe, and only one application per stage is allowed. The Board emphasizes that the results of re-evaluation are final and binding, with no further appeals allowed.

## Application Guidelines

All applications for review must be submitted online, and fees are to be paid digitally. The Board has made it clear that any changes in marks, whether an increase or decrease, will require students to return their original mark sheets for updated versions. Additionally, scanned answer book copies can be accessed under RTI provisions, but re-evaluation requests cannot be made through this route.
