## CBSE Launches Support Services
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced new support services to assist students following the release of Class 12 exam results. A tele-counselling helpline and an email support system have been set up to address queries related to exams, results, and evaluation. The helpline number is 1800-11-8004, and email inquiries can be sent to resultcbse2026@cbseshiksha.in.
## Class 12 Results Overview
The CBSE announced the Class 12 results for 2026, with an overall pass rate of 85.20%, a decrease from the previous year. Out of 18,57,517 students, girls achieved a pass percentage of 88.86%, outperforming boys who had 82.13%. Transgender students recorded a perfect pass rate.
## Top Performing Regions and Schools
Trivandrum led the regions with a 95.62% pass rate, followed by Chennai and Bengaluru. In Delhi, the West region achieved 92.34%, while Delhi East had 91.73%. Among institutions, Kendriya Vidyalayas and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas had the highest pass percentages.
## New Three-Language Policy
Starting July 1, CBSE will require Class IX students to study three languages, aligning with the National Education Policy 2020. At least two languages must be Indian, and no board exam will be conducted for the third language in Class X. Internal assessments will be school-based, and accommodations will be made for special needs students and those studying abroad.
