Abu Dhabi police win 19 awards at minister of interior excellence ceremony

## Recognition for Excellence

Abu Dhabi Police achieved significant recognition by winning 19 awards at the 7th Minister of Interior Excellence Award ceremony, held at Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi. The event was attended by Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

## Leading Entity Award

The police force was honored with the Leading Entity Award, meeting criteria such as Quality of Life Improvement, Proactive Services, Smart Enablement, Data and Knowledge, and Partnership and Integration. This accolade underscores their commitment to enhancing services and integrating modern systems.

## Institutional and Individual Honors

In institutional categories, Abu Dhabi Police was named Best Entity in the Security Field and Best Entity in Zero Bureaucracy. Three stations—Al Khalidiya, Al Shaabiya, and Al Madina—received the Best Comprehensive Police Station – Silver Classification award. Other awards included Best Entity in Preparedness and Readiness, Sports Excellence, K9 Security Inspection, and Best Policing Practice. The Innovative Idea Award was given for the "Dangerous Driver System."

Individual officers were also recognized in categories such as Specialised Officers, Field Officers, and People of Determination, highlighting the dedication and competence of the police personnel.

## Leadership and Strategy

Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, attributed the success to the support from UAE leadership and the force's strategic focus on international best practices and smart solutions. He emphasized the importance of teamwork, innovation, and developing national talent to maintain excellence and public trust.
