## Major Cybercrime Operation

Interpol has successfully dismantled a significant cyber fraud network affecting nearly 4,000 victims across 13 Arab countries. The operation, named "Rameses," took place from October 2025 to February 2026 and resulted in 201 arrests.

## Extensive Investigation

Authorities identified 3,867 victims and 382 additional suspects linked to the fraud activities. During the operation, around 50 servers were seized, highlighting the scale of the cybercrime infrastructure.

## Regional Impact

In Jordan, 15 individuals were arrested for running an illegal online trading platform. In Qatar, compromised computers were discovered, while in Morocco, devices containing banking data and phishing software were confiscated.

## Cross-Border Cooperation

The operation involved the exchange of 8,000 pieces of intelligence among participating countries, underscoring the importance of international collaboration in tackling cybercrime.
