## Enhanced Security Measures
Sharjah Police have implemented a comprehensive security and traffic plan for Eid Al Adha. This initiative includes increased patrols around key areas such as mosques, markets, beaches, and entertainment venues to ensure the safety of both residents and visitors.
## Traffic and Safety Initiatives
The plan involves continuous road monitoring through a central operations room and the deployment of field teams to address emergencies promptly. Police patrols will be particularly active around mosques during Eid prayers, and officers will monitor major and internal roads to alleviate congestion and maintain smooth traffic flow.
## Anti-Begging and Parking Enforcement
Efforts to curb begging will be intensified, with specialized teams conducting field inspections. Traffic patrols will also focus on preventing illegal parking near mosques, shopping areas, and recreational spots, as such violations can lead to significant congestion.
## Public Safety and Awareness
Sharjah Police will address disturbances in residential areas caused by irresponsible vehicle use to ensure public comfort and safety. Residents are advised to secure their homes by locking doors and windows and not leaving valuables unattended during the holiday.
## Focus on Child Safety
Special attention will be given to children's safety at beaches and swimming areas. Awareness campaigns will encourage parents to supervise their children closely.
## Community Cooperation
The public is urged to cooperate with police efforts and adhere to safety instructions. Emergencies can be reported by calling 999, while non-emergencies should be directed to 901.
