Robotic mitral valve repair is less invasive compared to traditional open-heart surgery. It involves small incisions, reducing trauma and allowing for quicker recovery. The procedure was performed using the da Vinci robotic platform, resulting in successful valve reconstruction and elimination of blood regurgitation.

Post-surgery, the patient showed remarkable progress, walking independently and consuming oral nutrition the day after the operation. He was discharged on the third day with an excellent prognosis.
