Etihad expands flights to Brussels, Dhaka, Kraków, Palma and Zanzibar

## Increased Flight Frequencies

Etihad Airways is expanding its flight services from Abu Dhabi to five international destinations: Brussels, Dhaka, Kraków, Palma de Mallorca, and Zanzibar. This expansion comes in response to rising demand for both leisure and business travel.

## Year-Round Dhaka Service

The airline has decided to make its Abu Dhabi-Dhaka route a year-round service. Initially launched on June 26, this route will continue to operate four times a week using a Boeing 777 aircraft. The service is popular among the Bangladeshi community in the UAE and also facilitates cargo transport between the two countries.

## More Flights to Europe

Starting July 27, 2026, Etihad will increase its flights to Kraków from three to four times a week. Additionally, flights to Brussels will rise to 11 weekly services beginning December 15, 2026. These routes are served by Airbus A321LR aircraft, offering multiple class options.

## Extended Seasonal Services

Etihad has extended its seasonal service to Zanzibar until March 31, 2027, and to Palma de Mallorca until October 18, 2026. The decision to extend these services is driven by strong demand for travel to these destinations.

Arik De, Etihad Airways' Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, highlighted that the increased capacity is a response to strong demand across diverse markets. The additional flights aim to bring more visitors to Abu Dhabi and strengthen the airline's global network.
