The Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF) in Dubai has honored the Schools of Research Science (SRS) for their significant contributions to sustainable endowment initiatives. The recognition was marked by a certificate of appreciation presented on behalf of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

## Meeting Highlights

The ceremony took place during a meeting between Ali Al Mutawa, Secretary General of AMAF, and Al Shamsi, Chairperson of the Board of Research Science Investment. Key representatives from both organizations, including Ayman Jarrah, Vice Principal of SRS, and Ali Al Hammadi, Head of the Innovation Team at AMAF, were present.

## Commitment to Education

Al Shamsi expressed gratitude for the recognition and emphasized the school's commitment to education as a vital investment in society. She highlighted the school's dedication to providing educational opportunities for both Emirati citizens and residents, viewing it as a national and social responsibility.

## Strengthening Partnerships

Ali Al Hammadi noted that the meeting was part of ongoing efforts to enhance collaboration between AMAF and SRS. He acknowledged SRS as the first educational institution to support Dubai Awqaf's sustainable endowment initiatives, which aim to promote social solidarity and community cohesion.

## Future Initiatives

Discussions during the meeting also covered various topics related to endowment and sustainability in Dubai, including innovative initiatives. In March of the previous year, SRS had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with AMAF to bolster their strategic partnership, focusing on educational initiatives and sector development.
