## Quick-Thinking Nurses Save a Life

In a remarkable act of bravery, two nurses in Kerala saved a 43-year-old man who suffered a heart attack while stuck in traffic. The incident occurred near the Kalady bridge in Ernakulam district.

## Immediate Action

Anjali Baiju, a staff nurse, and Ardra Raj, a nursing student, were traveling on a KSRTC bus when they noticed a commotion around a car. Inside was Sinoj, a lottery shop owner, who had collapsed at the wheel. Without hesitation, the nurses jumped off the bus and began performing CPR.

## Lifesaving Efforts

The nurses continued CPR inside the car as it made its way to a hospital in Angamaly. Their efforts kept Sinoj alive until he received emergency medical care. Doctors later discovered a blocked coronary artery, and he underwent an emergency angioplasty.
