## Recognition of Diplomatic Efforts
The President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has honored Maria Camilleri Calleja, the outgoing Maltese Ambassador, with the First Class Order of Independence. This accolade was awarded in recognition of her significant contributions to strengthening the diplomatic relationship between the UAE and Malta.
## Ceremony Details
The award was presented by Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, the UAE's Minister of State for International Cooperation, during a ceremony at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the event, Al Hashimy emphasized the UAE's dedication to enhancing its ties with Malta across various sectors.
