## Overview of Fines

Etihad Rail has implemented a range of fines for passenger violations on its trains and at its facilities. These fines range from Dh100 to Dh10,000, depending on the severity of the offense. The penalties apply to both passengers and visitors at stations.

## Specific Violations and Penalties

A Dh200 fine is issued for minor infractions such as littering, improper waste disposal, traveling without a valid ticket, and occupying reserved seats without authorization. More serious offenses, like smoking in prohibited areas or engaging in disruptive behavior, incur a Dh500 fine.

For severe violations, such as tampering with safety equipment or unauthorized access to restricted areas, fines can reach up to Dh5,000. Additionally, fines between Dh100 and Dh10,000 may be imposed for other unspecified violations, based on their nature and severity.

## Passenger Guidelines

Etihad Rail has also set guidelines for passenger conduct and the carriage of items. Passengers are advised to avoid carrying prohibited items such as weapons, explosives, and narcotics. Pets are allowed if kept in approved carriers, and certain items like oversized luggage and bicycles are not permitted.

## Ticketing and Travel Rules

Passengers are encouraged to book tickets in advance, especially during peak times. Tickets can be purchased up to five minutes before departure, subject to availability. Refunds and changes depend on the fare type, and boarding gates close two minutes before departure.
