## Pay10 Secures Key Licence in Hungary
Pay10, a global alternative payments platform, has been granted an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licence by the National Bank of Hungary. This approval marks a significant milestone for the company as it expands its operations into the European Union. With this licence, Pay10 becomes one of only three companies in Hungary authorized to offer regulated electronic money and payment services.
## Expanding Digital Payment Solutions
The EMI licence allows Pay10 to introduce its digital wallet, the Pay10 App, in Hungary. This app will enable users to manage funds, make payments, and transfer money both domestically and internationally. Additionally, the Pay10 Biz App will cater to small and medium-sized enterprises by providing affordable payment solutions and instant settlements.
## Aligning with Hungary's Vision
Pay10's strategy aligns with Hungary's Vision 2030 and the National Bank's efforts to enhance the country's digital payments ecosystem. The company aims to support the Azonnali Fizetési Rendszer, Hungary’s instant payment network, and Qvik, the mobile payment system.
## Global Expansion Plans
This latest development extends Pay10's regulatory reach to 10 licences across various countries, including India, the UAE, and Morocco. The company plans further expansion into Egypt, the GCC region, and other parts of Europe. Founder Prabhpreet Singh Gill views the Hungarian licence as a pivotal moment in Pay10's mission to build a connected and regulated payments network globally.
