ADNOC launches global LNG platform targeting 47 mtpa by 2035

## New LNG Platform Launched

ADNOC has introduced a global liquefied natural gas (LNG) marketing and trading platform based in Abu Dhabi Global Market. This initiative combines the LNG marketing efforts of ADNOC Gas and XRG with the trading expertise of ADNOC Trading.

## Ambitious LNG Targets

The platform aims to achieve a marketable LNG capacity of 47 million tonnes per annum by 2035. This would position ADNOC among the top global LNG players, enhancing Abu Dhabi's role in the energy trading sector.

## Centralized LNG Marketing

The new platform consolidates long-term LNG marketing under a single commercial structure. ADNOC Trading will handle trading activities, ensuring no changes to existing customer interactions.

## Leadership and Strategy

Rashid Al Mazrouei has been appointed as Chief Marketing & Origination Officer for LNG. He will oversee the marketing of the combined LNG portfolios of XRG and ADNOC Gas, centralizing these activities within the new platform.

## Shipping and Global Reach

Shipping is a crucial component of the platform, with ADNOC Trading's LNG shipping desk ranking among the top global LNG charterers. ADNOC Logistics and Services has expanded its LNG fleet to 20 vessels, supporting the UAE's growing LNG production and international trade.
