## Record Participation in Reading Challenge

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, has congratulated Dana Adel Al Zarooni for winning the UAE segment of the 10th Arab Reading Challenge. This year saw a record participation of over 830,000 students from the UAE.

## Dana Al Zarooni's Achievement

Dana, a student at Al Ittihad National Private School in Abu Dhabi, will represent the UAE in the finals of the Arab Reading Challenge. The competition includes participants from 60 countries, with a total of 40.28 million students taking part globally.

## Other Winners and Awards

The event also recognized Yousef Saeed Hamed from Sharjah for the People of Determination category, Naima Al Ameiri as the UAE's Outstanding Supervisor, and Hamdan bin Abdullah Al Sharqi School in Fujairah as the Outstanding School.

## Ceremony Highlights

The awards ceremony was attended by Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, Minister of Education, along with other officials, educators, students, and parents. The initiative is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, aiming to foster a love for reading and knowledge among students.
