Burj Khalifa's Open Call is back: Your art could light up the world's tallest building in Dubai

## Open Call for Artists

Emaar has announced the return of the Burj Khalifa Open Call, inviting artists worldwide to submit designs for a projection on the iconic tower. This competition offers creatives a chance to showcase their work on one of the most photographed landmarks globally.

## Submission Details

The contest is open from July 8 to August 18, 2026. Participants must submit a three-minute video in MP4 format, accompanied by a concept note explaining their design's inspiration. The final projection file should be in MOV format, with all music used being copyright-free.

## No Cash Prize

Unlike previous years, this edition does not offer a cash prize. Instead, the reward is the opportunity to have one's work displayed on the world's tallest building, providing significant global exposure.

## Expanded Participation

This year's competition is open to artists from around the world, unlike last year's edition, which was limited to UAE residents. Emaar aims to attract a diverse range of talent by extending the submission period to nearly six weeks.
