## New Visa Package Launched

Saudi Arabia has unveiled a new Visa Package programme, initially available to citizens from seven countries. This initiative allows travelers from Egypt, Jordan, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and Mexico to obtain an electronic tourist visa through a bundled travel booking.

## Streamlined Travel Process

The programme simplifies travel arrangements by combining return flights, hotel accommodations, and an electronic visa into a single booking. This eliminates the need for separate visa applications or visits to Saudi embassies. The electronic visa is issued within 48 hours of completing the package purchase.

## Travel Details

The visa, valid for three months, permits a single entry and allows stays from two to 88 days. Travelers must book a return flight and stay at a licensed hotel with at least a four-star rating. The minimum package price is SR4,000 for the first two days, with an additional SR1,000 per day thereafter. The total visa fee is SR402.21, covering issuance and travel insurance.

## Additional Services and Restrictions

Travelers can add optional services like event tickets to their bookings. However, the packages do not include services related to Umrah or arrangements in Makkah and Madinah. Visa holders can travel throughout Saudi Arabia, including the holy cities, after arrival.

## Future Expansion

The Ministry of Tourism plans to expand the list of eligible countries as the programme progresses. Refunds and booking changes due to cancellations will be managed by the authorized travel service providers.
