UAE introduces unified digital system for student assignments during Ramadan

## New Digital Framework for Ramadan

The UAE Ministry of Education has introduced a unified digital system for managing student assignments during Ramadan. This initiative, part of the "Ramadan with the Family" program, aims to enhance consistency and transparency in digital learning across public schools.

## Implementation Across All Grades

The new system applies to students from kindergarten to Grade 12. All assignments and evaluations will be uploaded through the Learning Management System (LMS), aligning with the approved curriculum. This approach is designed to ensure clear procedures and fair assessment for all students.

## Standardized Process for Teachers and Students

Teachers are required to follow specific steps when creating assessments, including entering titles, uploading instructions, defining assignment types, and setting deadlines. Students must submit their work electronically in approved formats, such as images, Word or PowerPoint files, or videos, with a maximum size of 50MB.

## Focus on Family Involvement

The initiative also emphasizes the role of families in supporting student learning during Ramadan. By standardizing the digital process, the ministry aims to streamline teaching and evaluation methods, reducing disparities between schools.
