## UAE Dominates Oman's Non-Oil Trade

In 2025, the United Arab Emirates emerged as Oman's top trading partner for non-oil exports and re-exports. This development underscores the strengthening economic relationship between the two Gulf nations.

## Significant Growth in Trade

According to Oman’s National Centre for Statistics and Information, the UAE received over RO 1.311 billion in non-oil exports from Oman, reflecting a 25.3% increase compared to the previous year. The UAE also accounted for 35.2% of Oman's re-export trade, valued at RO 724 million, marking a 27.2% rise.

## Increase in Imports

Omani imports from the UAE grew by 5.4%, exceeding RO 4.1 billion. This growth is part of a broader positive trend in Oman's non-oil trade, supported by government efforts to enhance port activities and productive sectors.

## Broader Trade Landscape

Overall, Oman's non-oil exports, including chemicals, metals, and machinery, increased by 7.5% to RO 6.7 billion. Re-export activities also saw a significant boost, rising by 20.3% to RO 2.056 billion.

## Other Key Partners

Besides the UAE, Oman’s major trading partners included Saudi Arabia, India, China, Iran, and the United Kingdom, each playing a significant role in the country's trade activities.
