## Expanding Access to Healthcare

Dubai's Clinic of Hope has successfully delivered free medical care to more than 2,100 children from various nationalities since its inception in March 2024. The initiative, held at Al Jalila Children's Hospital, is part of Dubai Health's efforts to promote volunteerism and humanitarian giving.

## Comprehensive Medical Services

The latest edition of the Clinic of Hope provided diagnostic and preventive care to 600 children, covering over 15 medical specialties. These included general pediatrics, cardiology, neurology, and more. For children requiring advanced treatment, costs were covered by the Al Jalila Foundation's A'awen programme.

## Community and Volunteer Support

The event was supported by numerous partners, including the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, and the Emirates Red Crescent. Over 140 volunteers participated, including medical professionals and students from local universities.

## Beyond Medical Care

In addition to healthcare, the day featured activities aimed at bringing joy to young patients. Storytelling sessions and a theatrical performance were organized, with gifts distributed by Emirates Red Crescent and beloved cartoon characters making appearances.

Dr. Amer Al Zarooni of Al Jalila Foundation emphasized the initiative's reflection of community values of giving and solidarity. Dr. Mohammed Al Awadhi of Dubai Health highlighted the importance of community partnerships in ensuring children receive necessary care.
