## A Historic Debut

Young Emirati musicians are poised to make history with a performance at Vienna's renowned Musikverein. This marks the first time a UAE-based orchestra will grace the stage of this iconic venue.

## From Classroom to Concert Hall

The musicians, part of the inaugural class of Dubai Culture's music program, have undergone a year of intensive training. The program, a collaboration between Dubai Culture and the National Youth Orchestra Dubai, has provided these students with approximately 1,850 hours of instruction in various musical disciplines.

## A Transformative Journey

Under the guidance of five internationally acclaimed musicians, the students have honed their skills in violin, cello, woodwinds, piano, and voice. Amira Fouad, Executive Director of NYO Dubai, praised the program as a testament to the UAE's musical talent.

## A Broader Vision

Shaima Rashed Al Suwaidi of Dubai Culture emphasized the program's role in nurturing future Emirati musicians and enhancing the UAE's cultural landscape. The Vienna tour, featuring performances at three prestigious venues, will also include the premiere of "Threads of Light," a composition by Emirati Ihab Darwish.
