Dubai RTA to auction 150 premium number plates from July 27

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is set to auction 150 premium number plates for private vehicles, classic cars, and motorcycles. The auction, which is the 83rd of its kind, will feature plates with three, four, and five digits. Codes available include A, H, I, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z.

## Registration and Bidding

Registration for the auction begins on July 20, with bidding starting on July 27 and lasting for five days. Participants must have a Dubai traffic file and provide a refundable security cheque of AED 5,000, along with a non-refundable participation fee of AED 120. A 5% VAT will be applied to all sales.

## Payment Process

Successful bidders are required to complete payment within 10 working days after the auction ends. Payments can be made in cash for amounts up to AED 50,000, or by certified cheque or credit card for larger amounts. Transactions can be completed at RTA Customer Happiness Centres or online through the RTA website.
